During Memorial Day weekend, Paxton Lynch was a mentor at Steve Clarkson’s QB retreat. On June 30, he’ll be running his own camp and giving back to the community where he grew up.
As a reminder, when Lynch signed his rookie contract, it included portions to be given to his church, the University of Memphis and Deltona High School. This is just another step in his mission to invest in those who helped him pursue his dreams along his way.
He went from being home schooled to receiving a full scholarship to winning bowl games to a first round pick by the Broncos. While his journey has been fraught with many road blocks and unbelievers, he’s still standing.
The camp will focus on basic football skills, plus tools to help one play faster, with a focus on agility and coordination. If you’ve seen the 6’7” QB play, you can see he posses the ability to move fast which most likely came from being a running back until he switched positions in high school.
