2013 Season (1/19/2014)

The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots 26-16 to win the AFC Championship and moved on to Super Bowl 48. Peyton Manning was 32/43 with 400 yards passing with the completions and passing yards being Broncos Franchise records.  Manning threw touchdown passes to Demaryius Thomas (7-134) and Jacob Tamme (2-24). Knowshon Moreno (14-59) and Montee Ball (12-43) combined to rush for 102 yards on 26 carries. Juliuus Thomas (8-85) and Eric Decker (5-73) helped pace  the offense that put up that put up 507 yards on Bill Belichick’s defense.

Danny Trevathan led the Broncos defense with 8 tackles. Robert Ayers and Terrance Knighton each sacked Tom Brady during the game.  Matt Prater added field goals of 27, 35, 19 and 54 yards, to go with a pair of extra points.

The Next Game Day History will be December 22nd since the Broncos have never played on 12/20 or 12/21.
