Peyton Manning threw four touchdown passes and Matt Prater broke an NFL record as the Denver Broncos hammered the Tennessee Titans 51-28 to improve to 11-2 on the season. Prater kicked a 64 yard field goal breaking Tom Dempsey’s NFL record that he set in 1970, the Dempsey kick was later tied by three others including Broncos kicker Jason Elam in ’98. Manning finished the day 39/59 for 397 yards. Eric Decker led the Broncos in receiving with 117 yards on 8 catches with a touchdown catch of 20 yards. Wes Welker (5-61) caught Manning’s first TD pass of the day from 1 yard out. Julius Thomas (5-35)hauled in a touchdown catch of 8 yards and Demaryius Thomas (7-88) caught the other TD pass from 4 yards out. The ground game was led by, Knowshon Moreno (14-78) and Monte Ball (15-77) as they each added a touchdown run. Defensively, Terrance Knighton had an interception, Malik Jackson and Von Miller added sacks and Miller forced a fumble. Prater added field goals of 25 and 19 yards to go with his record breaker and hit all six of his extra points.
