Phrase of the day: ACL Anterior Cruciate Ligament

The word of the day is one you hope you don’t hear in conversation when a newscaster is talking about the Denver Broncos.

The ACL, Anterior Cruciate Ligament, is a ligament in the knee. When it is torn, it requires surgery and 9-12 months of rehabilitation in most cases.

This is an example of a knee bending in a way it’s not intended.
