The Eagles announced today that they released offensive lineman Allen Barbre. But not so fast. Barbre has instead been traded to the Broncos, the team announced. The Eagles didn’t get much for Barbre — just a conditional draft pick in 2019 — but getting anything at all for a player the team already announced it…

The Ravens open training camp on Thursday, but QB Joe Flacco is dealing with a back issue. (AP)Jeff Zrebiec, the Ravens beat writer for the Baltimore Sun, wrote that Flacco is dealing with back soreness that could limit him. But Zrebiec, citing sources, said, “it’s possible Flacco is either held out of a few practices this week as he continues to recover, or takes fewer repetitions during early training camp workouts,” which sounds relatively benign.
