Cortez Kennedy passed away today (5/23/17) at the age of 48. The hall of fame defensive end played his entire career (1990-2000) for the Seattle Seahawks, back when they were a member of the AFC West.
Really sad to lose a guy like Cortez Kennedy. A great personality, a great player & I enjoyed competing against him. Prayers to his family.

He made was named to five NFL All Pro teams and made the Pro Bowl in eight of his eleven season. He was named the 1992 Defensive Player of the Year and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
He collected 58 sacks over his career with 4 coming in games against the Broncos. He was the third overall pick out of Miami in the 1990 draft. Kennedy is shown above going at it against former Broncos center Keith Kartz. Though a thorn in the Broncos side for over a decade, he will be missed.
