ENGLEWOOD, Colorado. A man of few words, Denver Broncos rookie DE, DeMarcus Walker, addressed the press after his first day of practice. Denver media should watch some FSU interviews to get a feel on how to get him to open up. I’ll volunteer to give lessons.
“It was pretty good. I was very excited to be back at work and just be out here getting better every single day.”
The biggest message that stuck with him during orientation, “It was Coach Ray [Jackson], our player development [director]. He said, ‘Once a year there is a rookie class that gets a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Why can’t it be us?’ That’s a stepping stone right there and it’s something that we have to work toward.”
