Last month, DeMarcus Ware announced his retirement from the NFL after 12 seasons. He cited his health as a main reason for stepping away, ending what’s sure to be a Hall of Fame career.  Although his last season came with the Broncos, Ware is retiring as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Word came Monday that the Saints and running back Adrian Peterson are still talking about a contract and they reportedly are moving toward doing more than that. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the two sides are “closing in” on a deal that would put Peterson in a Saints uniform for the 2017 season.…

Jake Long will always be a part of NFL history, as all No. 1 overall picks are.  Long didn’t have the long, productive NFL career expected of him when the Miami Dolphins made him the top pick in 2008, but the wasn’t necessarily his fault.
